Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A06 in the Philippines. The phone offers a large display, a unique design with a slim profile and decent processor. The Samsung Galaxy A06 is now available to purchase on their official stores online and retailers nationwide.

The phone is crafted with a thin 8.0mm profile, reducing the thickness from its predecessor’s 8.8mm. The back panel now features a new aesthetic appearance with an added vertical aligned texture that enhances its appeal.
For the screen size, it offers a large 6.7-inch 2.5D curved PLS LCD panel with a resolution of 720×1600 at 262 PPI. The company did not mention the refresh rate, but it seems to be a standard 60Hz.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A06 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor coupled with the Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The phone has 4GB of RAM and offers storage options of 64GB or 128GB.
For the cameras, the phone is equipped with a 50MP main camera alongside a 2MP secondary camera and an LED flash. For selfies, it has an 8MP selfie shooter.
For the battery, the Galaxy A06 offers a standard 5,000mAh battery paired with 25W fast charging. Additionally, the phone runs on Android 14 with OneUI and, according to the company, it offers two years of major updates and three years of security patches.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 starting price in the Philippines is PHP 5,790 for the 4GB/64GB variant while the 4GB/128GB variant is PHP 6,790. It is also offers a free travel adapter, and freebies worth up to PHP 2,690 until December 31.
