Redmi, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, has officially launched another budget-friendly smartphone globally, the Redmi 14c. The phone debuts an aesthetic rounded design and a stylish flat frame with a matte finish. The newly launched Mediatek Helio G81 Ultra chipset powers the Redmi 14c, which comes in four storage option variants. Aside from that, it also has four color options: Midnight Black, Sage Green, Dreamy Purple and Starry Blue.
Redmi 14c Features
The phone sports a 6.88-inch HD+ display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate with up to 600 nits HBM. Despite this, it is crafted in a slim profile, measuring 8.22mm thin and weighing about 211g.
Internally, the phone is powered by the Mediatek Helio G81 Ultra paired with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM, while it has 128GB and 256GB of storage. However, it features extended RAM up to 16GB. On the other hand, it runs on Android 14 with HyperOS on top.
Some users on x.com have reported that the Redmi 14c achieved a benchmark score of 253,931 on Antutu.
For the cameras, it is packed with a 50MP f/1.8 primary lens and an auxiliary lens, while the front has a teardrop 13MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. Both the front and back cameras offer 1080p @ 30 fps video recording.
For the battery, the phone houses a 5,160 mAh capacity that supports 18W fast charging. Additionally, the phone also features NFC connectivity, a side fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.4, and FM radio.
