Honor Play 9T: What We Know So Far!

Honor has unveiled the Honor Play 9T smartphone, a direct successor to the Honor Play 8T. The report came from “Mobile Review,” a Russian website, indicating a few specifications and the availability of the phone.

Honor Play 9T Features

The device will be available in three colors: Magic Night Black, Moon Shadow White, and Turquoise Green. It is also available in two storage variants: 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.

The device is supported by a USB-C port and also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Based on the image, the power button is located on the right side of the smartphone.

The camera module is crafted in a square with rounded corners, housing a dual camera sensor alongside the LED flash. There are no details about the camera sensor, but its predecessor has a 50MP and 2MP depth sensor.

As per the report, the Honor Play 9T will be available for pre-order from September 6 and will go on sale on September 13 in the Russian market. There is no information about its availability in other countries, especially in the Philippines.

The manufacturer will provide more detailed information about the full specifications of the phone when pre-orders begin.

However, let’s recap the key specifications of its predecessor, the Honor Play 8T. The phone sports a 6.8-inch TFT LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 and runs on Android 13.

For the cameras, it has a 50MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor, while on the front is an 8MP selfie shooter. Additionally, the phone has a massive battery capacity of 6,000mAh with 35W fast charging.

So, for the Honor Play 9T, we will wait for the official release to confirm the full features and specifications of the phone, and whether it is more upgraded than its predecessor.
