Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Note 14 5G in China with MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra

Xiaomi has recently announced the Redmi Note 14 5G in China, a base variant of the Note 14 series. The phone comes with significant upgrades to its predecessor, including the processor, camera, battery capacity, and charging speed.

The phone sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display (1080 x 2400) supporting adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 HBM, with up to 2,100 nits of peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for scratch resistance.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 14 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra paired with an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. For memory, the phone offers 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage; however, it supports a microSD card to expand storage.

One of the main features of the phone is its camera, which sports a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main shooter. It is also the first base model of the Redmi Note series to support an in-display fingerprint scanner.

For connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, OTG, a 3.5mm audio jack, and 4G VoLTE. For the battery, the device is packed a 5,110mAh capacity with 45W fast charging

Additionally, the Redmi Note 14 5G runs on Android 14 with HyperOS on top. It also features IP64 for water and dust resistance and is available in three color options: Starry White, Phantom Blue, and Midnight Black.
