Leaked benchmark scores show the chip outperforming even Apple’s A18 Pro, potentially marking a turning point in the battle for mobile processing supremacy. Based on the report by Smartprix in collaboration with OnLeaks Steve H.McFly, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (8 Gen4) scored over 3M on the AnTuTu benchmark.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite vs Apple A18 Pro Antutu Score
The Snapdragon 8 Elite, set to be officially unveiled next week at the Snapdragon Summit, has already made waves with its impressive AnTuTu score. In an exclusive leak reported by Smartprix.com, the chipset powering the upcoming Realme GT7 Pro achieved a staggering 3,025,991 points. This surpasses the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and even eclipses the A18 Pro, which scored approximately 1.65 million on the same benchmark.
While direct comparisons between Android and iOS platforms should be taken with a grain of salt due to different testing methodologies, the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s score is a clear indication of its raw power. The chipset is also expected to power other high-end devices, including the iQOO 13, OnePlus 13, and Xiaomi 15 series, potentially bringing a new level of performance to Android flagships.
The Realme GT7 Pro, set to launch later this month in China and in mid-November in India, will be the first device to showcase the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s capabilities. It boasts impressive specs, including a 6.8″ micro-quad curved display, a 50MP + 8MP + 50MP 3x camera setup, a 6,500 mAh battery, and 120W charging.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite’s arrival could signal a shift in the mobile processing landscape. Android flagships, long known for their affordability and customization, may now be able to achieve twice the score and performance of Apple’s A18 Pro chip, offering users a compelling alternative in the high-end smartphone market.
