Huawei Nova 13 series is now Official in China.

Huawei has launched two new midrange phones in China, the Huawei Nova 13 series. The base model starts at Yuan 2,699 while the Pro model starts at Yuan 3,699, and both come with four same color options.

HUAWEI NOVA 13 SERIES KEY SPECIFICATIONS

The Nova 13 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2412 x 1084) OLED panel with a 120Hz (0 to 120Hz) adaptive refresh rate. It also supports up to 300Hz touch sampling and 1440Hz PWM dimming.

Meanwhile, the Nova 13 Pro has a slightly larger screen with a 6.76-inch (2776 x 1224) OLED with the same 120hz refresh rate while it has slightly higher frequency dimming up to 2160Hz and also the same 300hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood, both are powered by the Kirin 8000 series with a single Cortex-A77 core clocked at 2.40 GHz, three additional Cortex-A77 cores at 2.19 GHz, and four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.84 GHz and paired with an Arm Mali-G610 GPU.

For the cameras, both models use a 50MP main camera and the same 8MP ultra-wide sensors. However, the Pro model has a 12MP triple portrait telephoto lens. For selfies, both have a 60MP f/2.4 selfie shooter but the Pro model has a dual front camera with an added 8MP sensor.

Additionally, the Pro model has dimensions of 163.4 x 74.9 x 7.82 mm and weighs 209g and both are IP65 rated for water and dust resistance. Both are fueled by a 5,000mah battery and 100W USB TYPE-C fast charging, while the other details of these two models have almost the same features.

The devices are now available to purchase in China with a starting price of Yuan 2,699 or around PHP 21,999 for the base model, while the Pro variant starts at Yuan 3,699 or approximately PHP 30K pesos.

However, the availability in other regions, including the Philippines, has not yet been announced by the company.
