Wiko, known for its affordable smartphones, has expanded its product line to include laptops with the launch of the Hi MateBook 14 and D 16. These new notebooks are designed to appeal to budget-conscious consumers seeking a decent performance without breaking the bank.
However, the devices will be available for purchase on October 27, 2024, in offline stores. Online purchase will become available on October 30. Customers can visit their nearest physical store to get their hands on the devices starting on the 27th. For those who prefer to shop online, both will be available on the company’s website and other online retailers starting on the 30th.
Wiko Hi Matebook 14 and D 16 Features
The Hi MateBook 14 boasts a sleek design featuring a 14.2-inch OLED screen with a 2.8K display, a light body, and a fresh appearance. The laptop has a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels with 243 PPI and offers a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Under the hood, it is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor coupled with Intel Xeon Graphics, 16GB or 32GB dual-channel RAM, and 1TB PCIe of storage.
Meanwhile, the Wiko Hi MateBook D 16 offers a larger 16-inch IPS display, making it ideal for productivity and entertainment. The laptop has a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution with 142 PPI, 100% sRGB color gamut, and a 178-degree viewing angle.
Inside, the Hi Matebook D 16 is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13500H processor coupled with Intel Iris X GPU, 16GB RAM, and 1TB PCIe of storage.
Both laptops feature a 70Wh battery, Windows 11 operating system, and a range of ports for connectivity. Wiko has yet to reveal pricing details, but the Hi MateBook 14 and D 16 are expected to be competitively priced, making them attractive options for budget-minded users.
