Lava Mobile has launched a new mid-range phone in India, the Lava Bold 5G. According to Lava Mobile on X, the phone’s initial sale begins April 8th, 2025, at 12 AM with a special launch price of ₹10,499.
Lava Bold 5G Features, Specs, and Price
The phone sports a 6.67-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The company claims it is the first in its segment with a 3D curved display.
The design features symmetrical 3D curves on both the front and back, with an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. The display panel is covered by AGC glass protection for durability and scratch resistance.
Under the hood, the Lava Bold 5G is powered by a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip paired with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, achieving an Antutu score of around 420K+ points. Memory and storage options include 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB variants, featuring dynamic RAM expansion up to 8GB.
The camera features a circular island on the back panel, housing a 64MP AI Sony camera sensor and a 16MP selfie shooter.
Other features include a 5000mAh battery with 33W USB-C fast charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, clean Android 14 (no ads or bloatware), up to two years of security patches, and an assured upgrade to Android 15.
