Oppo has silently launched the Oppo A5i Pro in the Philippines, a budget-friendly smartphone with an IP65 rating and military-grade shock resistance. This phone was launched on June 6th, 2025, at 12:00 AM, in conjunction with a 6.6 sale exclusively on Shopee. However, the official release is set for June 20th, 2025, according to listings on their TikTok Shop.
The Oppo A5i Pro has a suggested retail price of ₱8,999 and offers exclusive first-sale perks and a discounted price until June 8th only on Shopee Philippines.
Oppo A5i Pro Features
The phone sports a 6.67-inch LCD display, an HD+ (720 x 1604) resolution at 264 ppi, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display lights up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, Vivid mode at 83% DCI-P3, and has a 120Hz default touch sampling rate (up to 180Hz).
Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 octa-core processor paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. It runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
For the cameras, it houses a 50MP f/1.85 5P lens autofocus main camera, an unspecified secondary sensor, and a punch-hole 5MP selfie camera.
The design has boxy rounded corners, a flat slim profile including the side frame, and a triple vertical camera hole including the ring-light LED flash on its camera island. The dimensions measure 165.71mm x 76.24mm x 7.99mm and it comes in midnight purple colorways.
The Oppo A5i Pro is packed with a massive 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and paired with 45W SuperVOOC flash charge. Other features include a side-fingerprint scanner, an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, and military-grade shock resistance.
