Samsung officially confirms the India launch of the Galaxy M36 for June 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The report was shared by Samsung India on X yesterday, indicating its imminent launch with a promotional video. The phone will be available to purchase soon on Amazon India.

The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and protection via Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. It will come in Orange Haze, Velvet Black, and Serene Green colorways.
Under the hood, it will be powered by the Exynos 1380 processor coupled with an ARM Mali-G68 MP5 GPU. Memory and storage options include 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 and promises up to 6 years of OS updates.
For cameras, it sports a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 3MP macro sensor, and a 13MP front-facing camera. Video recording supports up to 4K at 30fps on both front and rear cameras.
As for the battery, no details about the capacity have been revealed yet, but leaks suggest support for 25W fast charging. Other leaked details include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
