Aside from the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, the brand also launched the Redmi K80 Ultra in China. The phone is now available in that country with a starting price of CNY 2,599 (approximately ₱20.5k Philippine pesos).The phone is sold at mi.com while the availability in other regions has yet to be announced.
Redmi K80 Ultra Features
The phone sports a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K (2772 x 1280) resolution. Measuring 163.08mm x 77.93mm x 8.18mm and weighing 219 grams, it comes in Sandstone Grey, Moonstone White, Spruce Green, and Ice Peak Blue.
Under the hood, it’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ octa-core processor paired with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU. Memory options include 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB to 1TB of internal storage. Running Android 15 with a HyperOS 2 skin, it boasts HyperAi features.
The rear panel houses a 50MP Omnivision Light Hunter 800 OIS main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and an LED flash. The front features a 20MP punch-hole selfie camera. Video recording capabilities include 8K @ 30fps, 1080p @ 60/30fps, and up to 960fps slow motion.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, dual SIM 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and an IR blaster (integrated within the camera module).
The massive 7,410mAh battery supports 100W USB-C 2.0 flash charging. Other features include an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, symmetrical dual 1115 coaxial speakers, and an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback.
The Redmi K80 Ultra is a strong contender in the midrange budget segment, offering flagship-level performance. It’s available at mi.com and other reputable retailers in China for CNY 2,599.
