Xiaomi Pad Mini Expected Specs

The Xiaomi Pad Mini is expected to retain the core hardware of the Redmi K Pad. This includes an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, housed in an all-metal unibody design. The tablet measures 6.4mm in thickness and weighs 326 grams, emphasizing portability.

Under the hood, the device is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with a 12,050mm² aviation-grade VC cooling system to manage thermal performance. It includes a 7,500mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera. Software-wise, it will run Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 interface. Additional features include a dual-axis linear motor for haptic feedback and Dolby Atmos-tuned quad speakers.

In China, the Redmi K Pad starts at CNY 2,799 (roughly PHP 22,000), though global pricing for the Xiaomi Pad Mini remains unconfirmed. The device’s launch timeline is also unclear, but industry sources suggest a potential release in the third quarter of 2025. If priced competitively, it could challenge Apple’s dominance in the compact tablet segment, particularly in emerging markets.
