Tecno Mobile has introduced a new budget-friendly smartphone in the Philippines: the Tecno Spark 40c. This phone arrived on August 8, 2025, alongside the Pova 7 Ultra and the Pova Curve. It is available for purchase on their online store at a promo price of PHP 3,779 (suggested retail price of PHP 4,199) until August 14, 2025, exclusively on Shopee. It will soon be available on Lazada and TikTok Shop as well.
Tecno Spark 40c Features and Specifications
The phone sports a 6.67″ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution at 263 ppi. It also features “Wet Touch” technology for screen responsiveness.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 octa-core processor, running on Android 15 with HiOS skin on top, and 4GB/128GB of memory and storage.
For the cameras, it features a 13MP main sensor with dual LED flash, while the front houses a punch-hole 8MP selfie shooter. Both front and back cameras are enhanced with AI imaging for detailed and accurate images.
Inside, it packs a massive 6,000mAh battery paired with 18W fast charging, with more than 80% capacity remaining even after 5 years of use.
For connectivity, it supports a feature called “FreeLink,” which enables free calls and texts even without a network via Bluetooth connectivity. It also supports infrared remote control and FM radio.
For AI productivity, the brand introduced “Tecno AI,” including AI Writing with AI Text Generator, AI Proofread, and AI Summarize. It can also perform AI Translate.
Other features include IP64-rated water and dust resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dual stereo speakers tuned by DTS sound.
