Redmi has officially announced the launch of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, scheduled for August 21st at 7 PM. A recent Weibo post highlights the device’s emphasis on real-world durability, including drop resistance and waterproofing, alongside flagship-level features. Pre-orders are now being accepted, with a promotional campaign offering a chance to win a Redmi Note 15 series device.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Features
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature the “fourth-generation Snapdragon 7s,” promising a high-performance, low-power experience.
The brand has also confirmed pairing it with a first-of-its-kind ice-sealed circulation cold pump, boasting a 5200mm² ultra-large area and 3x thermal conductivity, ensuring smooth performance even with high-frequency applications.
Redmi also mentioned using Light Hunter 800 high dynamic range for the main camera, paired with a 2.5X golden telephoto triple camera with five focal lengths and rich AI gameplay and intelligent beautification in one step. The Note 15 Pro+ is also the first to feature kilometer-level network communication, allowing two-way calls even without a network. It uses the T1S chip and Phase 8L for signal enhancement, providing a ridiculously strong signal in crowded areas, basements, and elevators.
Powering the device is a 7000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery with 90W wired fast charging + 22.5W wired reverse charging for ultimate durability, with up to 1600-cycle battery guaranteeing five years of reliable use.
The display features a 6.83-inch micro-curved display with 1.5K resolution and lights up to 3200nits peak brightness. The screen is also protected by in-house Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass for enhanced screen durability.
Additionally, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ also features IP69K certification for water and dust resistance and an anti-bending and ultra-tough fiberglass back panel that is thinner and lighter. The device has 10 times more drop resistance and is the industry’s first to pass the 2-meter granite drop test 50 times.
