Oppo has confirmed the official launch date of the upcoming Oppo Pad 5 for October 16, 2025, in China. This new tablet is expected to be introduced alongside the upcoming flagship Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. The announcement was shared by the brand on Weibo and highlights that it will be the first device equipped with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The brand also shared a teaser video of the tablet showcasing features like multi-screen support, fast switching between apps, and multi-gesture support. Early Geekbench results for the Oppo Pad 5 suggest that the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The tablet reportedly sports a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with 3K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It weighs approximately 578g and will be available in Grey, Purple, and Silver color options. A reliable tipster, Anvin, on X (formerly Twitter) has shared key specifications suggesting it could house a massive 10,300mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The rear camera is said to be an 8MP main shooter, while the front camera specifications are yet to be confirmed.
