Samsung is gearing up for a new midrange device, spotted on a Geekbench listing with a new midrange SOC. Is this reportedly the Samsung Galaxy A77, hinting that Samsung’s A7x series is making a comeback? The A73 5G was the last device in this lineup back in 2022, but now the Samsung Galaxy A77 (SM-A776B) has appeared on Geekbench with a new Samsung SoC featuring the same GPU as the Exynos 2400 and 2400e.

New Exynos SoC Configurations:
- Deca-core (4+3+3) CPU:
- 3 cores: 2.78GHz
- 3 cores: 2.30GHz
- 4 cores: 1.82GHz
- Xclipse 940 GPU
- Android 16, 8GB RAM
Geekbench Scores:
- Single-core: 1,566
- Multi-core: 5,747
According to the listing, the new chip achieved an impressive score of 1,566 for single-core and 5,747 for multi-core performance. This new Exynos chip is the first midrange Samsung chip with 10 cores, and its performance is reportedly between the Exynos 2600 and Exynos 1680.
Rumors also suggest that the Galaxy A77 could be priced around $599, a $100 gap from the Galaxy S26 FE. In related news, the Galaxy A57 has also appeared on Geekbench alongside the Galaxy A77. The Galaxy A57 is confirmed to use the new Exynos 1680 chip, which features an 8-core configuration and Xclipse 550 GPU.
The brand has not issued a statement yet about these new midrange phones, but we expect an announcement from the brand regarding its imminent launch. We will wait for the official details upon their release.
