Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 15 5G alongside the Redmi Pad 2 Pro in India. The smartphone will be available in multiple storage variants and color options, with sales starting on January 9 through Amazon, Mi Shop, and offline retail stores.

The Redmi Note 15 5G features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution of 2392×1080 pixels. The screen supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The device also supports expandable storage via a microSD card of up to 1TB.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging and 18W wired reverse charging. In the camera department, it has a 20MP front camera, while the rear setup includes a 108MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
The Redmi Note 15 5G runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2. Xiaomi has confirmed four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and an IR blaster.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1. It carries MIL-STD-810H certification and comes with IP65 and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance. The device measures 164 x 75.42 x 7.35mm for the Black and Glacier Blue variants, while the Mist Purple variant is 7.40mm thick. The weight is 178 grams.
The Redmi Note 15 5G is available in Glacier Blue, Black, and Mist Purple color options. Pricing in India and the corresponding converted prices in Philippine pesos are as follows:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 22,999 (PHP 15,999)
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: Rs 24,999 (PHP 16,499)
Sales of the Redmi Note 15 5G will begin on January 9 across online and offline channels in India, while availability details for the Philippines have not yet been announced.
