Visionox has reportedly begun mass production of its pTSF OLED display technology, which has already been adopted by a top-five global flagship smartphone brand, according to information shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

Some Visionox displays have already been used in devices such as the iQOO Neo 10 and smartphones from brands like Vivo and Honor. The latest Visionox pTSF OLED technology is expected to appear in upcoming flagship models from brands including Honor and Nubia.
The tipster said the technology was discovered while researching next-generation flagship display designs and confirmed that the same solution will continue to be used in upcoming models. The pTSF material, originally proposed by Tsinghua University, is designed to improve OLED energy efficiency, durability, and color accuracy by reclaiming energy normally lost during the initial conversion process.
In a follow-up comment, Digital Chat Station added that Visionox’s pTSF OLED is the first domestically produced display to achieve mass production of BT.2020 color gamut combined with tandem dual-layer OLED architecture. The tandem structure uses two stacked emissive layers, allowing higher brightness and improved luminous efficiency while extending panel lifespan.
According to the tipster, Visionox achieved the world’s first mass production and commercial application of pTSF OLED panels in Q4 2025, with early user feedback indicating strong outdoor brightness performance and high screen efficiency. The material is also described as China’s first domestically developed and controllable core OLED luminescent technology, reducing reliance on overseas suppliers.
Digital Chat Station further stated that Visionox has technical reserves for advanced display solutions, including 3D under-display face recognition, which requires high light transmission and precise display control. An updated iteration of the pTSF technology is expected in 2026, with other manufacturers currently evaluating its adoption.
