Redmi Book 14 (2026) vs. 2025 Model

The primary change for the 2026 model is the transition to the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H. This differs from the 2025 version, which utilized 13th-Gen Intel Core H-series processors (such as the i5-13500H).

The shift to the Meteor Lake platform introduces three main technical changes:

  1. Dedicated NPU: Unlike the 13th-gen chips, the Core Ultra 5 includes a built-in Neural Processing Unit specifically for handling background tasks and local processing more efficiently.
  2. Integrated Graphics: The newer architecture provides a performance increase for the onboard GPU compared to previous Iris Xe iterations.
  3. Efficiency: The hybrid design of the Ultra 5 chip is built for lower power consumption during standard use, which complements the laptop’s 80Wh battery capacity.
