The vivo X500 Pro has leaked ahead of its expected launch, with details pointing to a smaller screen and MediaTek’s new 2nm flagship chip.
The information was shared by Anvin, Senior Editor at Gizmochina, via his X account. Meanwhile, details regarding the camera setup were revealed by DCS Digital Chat Station on Weibo. In a separate report, Weibo Digital drew direct comparisons between the upcoming model and the existing X300 Pro.
According to the leaks, the X500 Pro will feature:
- 6.37-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED flat display
- Dimensity 9600 series chip
- 7,000mAh+ battery
- Front camera: 50MP
- Rear cameras: 50MP (1/1.28-inch sensor with LOFIC tech) + 50MP ultra-wide + 64MP Sony IMX06H periscope telephoto
- Software: Android 17 with OriginOS 7
Separately, Weibo Digital notes two core changes from the X300 Pro (the brand likely skipped the X400 series). First, the screen moves from a large size to a smaller, more comfortable form factor. Furthermore, the X500 Pro is the first to use the Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship chip, built on TSMC’s advanced 2nm process, and this is vivo’s entry into the 2nm flagship performance era.
As of now, none of these details have been officially confirmed by the brand itself. There is also no word yet on an official unveiling date or launch timeline for the upcoming device.
