OnePlus has officially introduced its latest budget-friendly 5G smartphone, the OnePlus N6, in the Indian market. Designed to offer reliable performance and long battery life, the device targets users looking for a solid daily driver without breaking the bank.

Previously, the initial key specifications and official design of the phone were revealed. The design, particularly the camera island, is nearly identical to the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and the only difference is the placement of the LED light. The phone has a starting price of Rs 22,999, or about ₱14,999, and will be available in two storage variants and two color options.

Price and Availability

The OnePlus N6 comes in two storage options:

  • 4GB RAM + 128GB storage: Priced at Rs 22,999 (~₱14,999)
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Priced at Rs 24,999 (~₱16,299)

It will be available in two color choices: Fresh Mint and Midnight Green. Sales begin on July 4 through the official OnePlus website, Amazon India, and authorized offline retail stores across the country.

Additionally, buyers can avail of several deals during the initial sale period:

  • Rs 2,000 instant discount when using select credit cards
  • Up to 6 months No Cost EMI facility on credit cards from partner banks
  • An exclusive Rs 1,000 discount for Amazon Prime members as part of Prime Day offers

Specifications

The OnePlus N6 features a 6.8-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution of 1570 by 720 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits under high brightness mode.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex processor paired with LPDDR4X RAM. Powering the device is packed a large 8,000mAh battery, which supports 45W wired charging, 5W reverse charging, and bypass charging.

For photography, the device uses an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and a 50-megapixel main camera on the rear. It runs on Android 16 with OxygenOS 16 skin on top. OnePlus promises two major Android version updates and three years of regular security patches.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a single speaker, and a microSD card slot for extra storage. Connectivity options cover hybrid dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and certified MIL-STD-810H standards for improved durability.

In terms of size and weight, it measures 166.47 by 78.23 by 8.88 millimeters and weighs 224 grams.
