CMF has expanded its audio lineup in India with the launch of the Buds Neo, a budget pair of true wireless earbuds that punches well above its price tag. Priced at just Rs 1,999 (~PHP 1,288) for the launch period, the new earbuds bring active noise cancellation, long battery life, and the latest Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity to the entry-level segment.

Inside the Buds Neo are 12.4mm dynamic drivers, which CMF says are tuned to deliver rich bass and clear vocals across genres. The earbuds support up to 35dB of adaptive ANC, automatically adjusting noise cancellation levels based on the surrounding environment. This is a feature rarely seen at this price point. For those who want to stay aware of their surroundings, a transparency mode is also included.

Voice clarity gets a boost thanks to a four-microphone setup with Clear Voice Technology, which the company claims isolates the user’s voice from background noise during calls.

On paper, the battery life is one of the standout specifications. The brand rates the Buds Neo for up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge from the earbuds themselves, with the charging case extending that to a total of 52 hours. Fast charging support adds 5.5 hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge, making them ideal for users who are frequently on the move.

The earbuds also include static spatial audio for an immersive listening experience, six pre-set EQ modes plus a custom EQ option for personalized sound, and a 120ms low-latency gaming mode that reduces audio lag during mobile gaming. Dual-device connectivity allows seamless switching between two paired devices, while Bluetooth 6.0 promises improved range, stability, and energy efficiency compared to older standards.

The CMF Buds Neo will be available in three color options: Black, White, and Dark Blue. Sales are scheduled to begin in India on August 26. No words yet when they will bring this in the Philippines.
