The Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max has reportedly appeared on Geekbench 7 as the global variant, confirming its benchmark performance and memory details. The listing points to the Kirin 9050 Pro chipset, which has already launched in China and is said to be the version intended for global release.
The phone has appeared in multiple benchmark tests, with the latest recording a single-core score of 1,427 and a multi-core score of 5,127 on Geekbench 7. The listing also shows 16GB of RAM and identifies the GPU as Huawei’s Maleoon 955.

Here are the main details from the Geekbench listing:
- Chipset: Kirin 9050 Pro
- Single-core: 1,427
- Multi-core: 5,127
- RAM: 16GB
- GPU: Maleoon 955
- Software: Android 16 / HarmonyOS 7
- CPU: 2 cores at 1.75GHz, 4 cores at 2.20GHz, 2 cores at 2.70GHz, and 1 core at 3.10GHz
The CPU configuration is particularly interesting, as the Kirin 9050 Pro appears to use the same nine-core layout as an iteration of its predecessor. However, the fastest core now reaches 3.10 GHz. This is different from the configuration reported for the Kirin 9030 Pro used in the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max.
The Kirin 9030 Pro has a configurations with one core running at up to 2.75GHz with two threads, four cores at 2.27GHz, and another four cores at 1.7GHz. The new Kirin 9050 Pro therefore appears to bring a different CPU layout and a higher peak clock speed.
There is still no word on when the phone will be released for the global market, particularly in the Philippines. As of now, it is available in China.
