RedMagic has set a date for the international launch of its latest gaming flagship. The RedMagic 12 Pro will be unveiled globally on November 3, 2026 at 7 AM EST, roughly three weeks after the phone first appeared in China.

From Pro+ to Pro

The phone made its debut in China on October 15 under the name RedMagic 12 Pro+. For the rest of the world, the company is dropping the plus sign and selling it simply as the RedMagic 12 Pro. The company has not said yet whether the global model will carry the exact same specs as the Chinese version. Pricing, regional storage options, and availability details are all expected to come out on launch day.

What We Know So Far

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, Qualcomm’s newest top-tier chip built on TSMC’s 2nm process. It is paired with RedMagic’s own RedCore R5 gaming chip and a G1 display controller. Together they support frame interpolation and super-resolution upscaling at up to 2K resolution and 185Hz in supported games. Memory goes up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage.

The screen is a 6.8-inch AMOLED with a 185Hz refresh rate, an under-display camera, and a 0.96mm bezel that gives it a 96.3% screen-to-body ratio. There is no notch or punch hole anywhere.

Powering everything is an 8,400mAh battery with 120W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and bypass charging support so you can play while plugged in without feeding the battery.

Cooling Gets an RGB Makeover

The circular liquid cooling module on the back now has built-in RGB lighting that can react to what is happening in a game. The AquaCore Cooling System 3.0 combines a dual-loop liquid cooling setup with the TurboFan 5.0 and a dual-crystal micro-pump that RedMagic says delivers 85% more pumping power than before.

Classic gaming phone features are still there too, including physical shoulder triggers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes in three transparent finishes called Dark Night, Silver Wing, and Ice Blue.

Pricing and Availability

In China, the RedMagic 12 Pro+ starts at CNY 6,999, which works out to roughly $1,046, €930 or ₱65,999. Global pricing will be announced on November 3. Early reports from Europe suggest pre-orders could open around November 12, with general availability following later that month.

We will know more once the launch event goes live. For now, gamers looking for a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 phone with active cooling have another strong option landing just in time for the holiday season.
