The battery capacity of Apple’s first foldable iPhone has appeared in a European regulatory database. Tipster Anvin shared the details on X, pointing to a listing in EPREL, the European Product Registry for Energy Labelling, under the internal model number A3720. That model is widely believed to correspond to the global variant of the iPhone Duo.

According to the EPREL entry, the iPhone Duo carries a rated battery capacity of 4,883mAh. That figure is notably larger than the batteries found in standard iPhone models, which makes sense given the larger foldable form factor and the extra power needed to drive two displays.

Apple has not officially confirmed the number, but EPREL listings are submitted by manufacturers themselves before products go on sale in Europe, so they are generally considered reliable.

Since June 2025, smartphones and tablets sold in the European Union are required to carry an energy label. Each label includes a QR code that links to the product’s public EPREL page, where details such as battery capacity, endurance rating, repairability score, and water resistance are published. That requirement is what made this information public before Apple chose to share it.

Meanwhile, the iPhone Duo is set to launch in the Philippines on October 30, 2026, with pricing starting at PHP 159,990. The device will be available in four storage configurations and two color options, Star White and Night Sky.
