Tecno is gearing up to unveil the POVA 6 Pro smartphone at the MWC 2024 event in Barcelona, Spain. The device has already received multiple certifications, including NBTC, FCC, and Google Play Console. The latest one is from Geekbench, which reveals some key specifications of the upcoming phone. Here’s what we know so far about the Tecno POVA 6 Pro.
Tecno POVA 6 Pro specs and features
According to the Geekbench listing, the Tecno POVA 6 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset with eight cores, four of which are clocked at 2.40GHz and the other four at 2GHz. The phone will also have a Mali G57 MC2 GPU for graphics performance. The device will come with a whopping 12GB of RAM and run on Android 14 OS out of the box.
The phone scored 770 points in the single-core test and 2,096 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. The benchmarking platform does not reveal any other details about the phone.
However, based on the previous certifications and leaks, we can expect the phone to sport a curved display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone will also offer 256GB of internal storage and 6000mah battery capacity with 70W fast charging.
The rear panel of the phone will feature a large camera module with two sensors and a third cutout, possibly for a flash or a laser autofocus. The design of the phone will be different from its predecessor, the Tecno POVA 5 Pro. (read)
Tecno POVA 6 Pro launch date and price
Tecno has not officially announced the launch date of the phone, but we can expect it to happen soon as the phone has already cleared several certifications. The phone will likely debut at the MWC 2024 event, which is scheduled to take place from February 26 to March 1 in Barcelona, Spain.
