Apple has unveiled a new subscription bundle designed to bring its professional creative software under a single plan. Called Apple Creator Studio, the service combines video editing, music production, and design applications into one monthly or yearly payment.

It targets a broad range of users, from professional editors and musicians to students and educators, by offering access to studio-grade tools at a lower entry price.

A New Subscription Model

Apple Creator Studio moves away from individual app purchases, offering an all-in-one access model. In the United States, the standard plan is priced at $12.99 per month or $129 per year.

To support the education sector, Apple has introduced discounted rates for students and educators. Eligible academic users can access the full suite for $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year, with a one-month free trial included.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, the service will be available via the App Store starting Thursday, January 29, according to the press release. The standard subscription is priced at ₱399 per month or ₱3,990 per year.

College students and educators in the country can subscribe at reduced rates of ₱149 per month or ₱1,490 per year, with the same one-month free trial offered to new users.

Included Professional Applications

The bundle includes six major applications that cover video, audio, and graphics workflows:

  • Final Cut Pro: The company’s professional video editing software, utilized by filmmakers and YouTubers for advanced post-production.
  • Logic Pro: A comprehensive music production suite for recording, mixing, and mastering audio.
  • Pixelmator Pro: A powerful image editor for photos and graphic design. With this launch, the app expands to the iPad with full Apple Pencil support.
  • Motion: A graphics tool for creating cinematic titles and effects used within Final Cut Pro.
  • Compressor: An encoding tool that allows editors to optimize media for export to various platforms.
  • MainStage: A live performance application that turns a Mac into a dedicated instrument and effects rig for musicians and DJs.

Productivity and Compatibility Updates

In addition to the creative software, the subscription unlocks premium features within Apple’s standard productivity apps. Users will gain access to advanced tools and content in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. Support for the collaborative app Freeform is expected to arrive soon after the initial launch.

The service aims to simplify the workflow for creators who often switch between different media types. By bundling these tools, Apple provides a consistent environment for professionals and hobbyists working across Mac and iPad devices.

Apple Creator Studio will be available for purchase starting January 28 in the United States, which corresponds to January 29 in the Philippines.
