ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP: The Ultimate Gaming Monitor with 4K OLED and Dual Mode
ASUS has announced the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP, a 32-inch gaming monitor that boasts a 4K OLED panel with a stunning 240 Hz refresh rate and a blazing-fast 0.03 ms response time.
The monitor also features a dual mode that allows users to switch between 4K resolution at 240 Hz and Full HD resolution at 480 Hz, depending on their preference and gaming needs.
Features
The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP is the first monitor to use the second-generation Quantum Dot OLED technology, which delivers vibrant colors, true blacks, and an optimized subpixel layout for improved text clarity.
The monitor also supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, and can reach 1000 nits of peak brightness for an immersive HDR experience.
To ensure a long lifespan and minimize the risk of burn-in, ASUS has equipped the monitor with a custom heatsink and a graphene film that keep the panel and the mainboard cool and comfortable.
The monitor also has a built-in fan that can be turned on or off by the user, depending on the ambient temperature and the gaming scenario.
Connectivity
The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP comes with a range of connectivity options, including two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, a USB 3.0 hub, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The monitor also has a built-in 2.1 channel speaker system with ESS Sabre DAC and DTS Sound Unbound support.
The monitor has a sleek and ergonomic design, with a height-adjustable, tilt, swivel, and pivot stand, and an Aura Sync RGB lighting system.
Price and availability
The ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2024, with a suggested retail price of $3,999.
The monitor is aimed at gamers who want the best of both worlds: a large and immersive 4K OLED display with a high refresh rate and a low response time, and a dual mode that lets them switch to a faster and smoother Full HD resolution when needed.
