A widespread Google Cloud outage on Thursday afternoon disrupted services for a range of popular platforms, impacting millions of users globally. According to Downdetector, the incident, which began around 2:00 PM ET, affected major services including Spotify, Discord, DoorDash, and numerous other applications that rely on Google Cloud infrastructure.

Reports flooded social media as users experienced difficulties accessing various services. Over 40,000 Spotify users reported inability to load the app, while Discord saw more than 12,000 users facing issues with messaging and server connections.
