HMD Global has launched a budget-friendly 5G smartphone in the Philippines: the HMD Crest 5G. The announcement came from HMD’s official Facebook page, with a price of PHP 7,990. It is now available on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
HMD Crest 5G Smartphone Features
The HMD Crest 5G, first launched in India last year, is finally available in the Philippines. The phone boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2400 x 1080 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
Its dimensions are approximately 163.86 x 76.42 x 8.41 mm, and it weighs approximately 205 grams. The phone is available in Midnight Blue, Lush Lilac, and Royal Pink.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a 6nm 2.2GHz Unisoc T760 5G processor and Mali-G57 GPU, achieving an Antutu benchmark score of around 500,000. It has 6GB of RAM (with additional virtual RAM) and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
For imaging, it features a 50MP main sensor + 2MP depth sensor and LED flash. The front houses a 50MP punch-hole selfie camera. The phone runs on Android™ 14 and offers up to two years of quarterly security updates.
The 5000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, OZO audio, a single loudspeaker with 2-microphone noise reduction, and an IP52 rating for splash resistance.
