The Honor Magic 8 Pro has officially launched in China alongside the base model Magic 8. The phone goes on sale today with a starting price of CNY 5,699, and consumers can enjoy up to 24 months of 0% interest installments and a free Honor Band 9 as a bonus.

The phone sports a 6.71-inch micro-quad curved OLED LTPO display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and circular polarization 2.0. The screen supports HDR and up to 6,000 nits peak brightness and features high-frequency 4320Hz PWM dimming.

Under the hood, the Honor Magic 8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and runs on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. The memory and storage configurations include 12GB to 16GB of RAM and 256GB up to 1TB of ROM.

For imaging, it features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide macro lens, a 200MP Samsung S5KHP9 telephoto lens with 3.7x zoom and OIS, and a 50MP 3D depth sensor for selfies. Powering the device is a massive 7,200mAh battery with 120W wired Honor SuperCharge and support for 80W wireless charging.

For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, an IR blaster, a C1+ comms chip, an E2 energy efficiency chip, and satellite connectivity, but the latter is only available in the 1TB variant.

Other features include Giant Rhino Glass for screen durability, an IP68/69/69K rating for water and dust resistance, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. Stereo speakers, an AI Key, and a stainless steel VC cooling system are also included.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro is now available for purchase in China via the Honor shop website and other reputable online stores. It is also available in physical stores across the country. Below are the prices for each storage variant:

  • 12GB+512GB: 5,999 CNY (~Rs 74,190 | ~$845)
