Honor Philippines is ready to launch the toughest smartphone in the country: the Honor X9c 5G. Consistent with their past marketing strategies, Honor has generated significant pre-release hype for their latest phone. This time, they’ve achieved a Guinness World Record for “The most people performing a mobile phone drop test simultaneously,” showcasing their commitment to innovative and attention-grabbing promotional campaigns. The event had 264 participants simultaneously dropping the latest HONOR X9c 5G.

Honor X9C 5G Features
One of the main features of the Honor X9c 5G is its SGS 5-Star rating for drop resistance, withstanding up to 2-meter drops. It also features an IP65M rating for water resistance, able to be submerged up to 25cm deep for a maximum of 5 minutes. It is also heat-resistant, surviving extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C cold to 70°C hot.
The phone is crafted with a titanium finish ultra-slim design that measures 7.9mm thin and weighs 189 grams. The phone comes in Titanium Purple, Titanium Black, and Jade Cyan colorways.
The phone sports a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, 1.5K (2700×1224) resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen lights up to 4000 nits peak brightness and has high-frequency 3840Hz PWM dimming for eye protection.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 2.2GHz 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core processor with an Adreno 710 GPU. For memory, it comes with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and 256GB and 512GB of internal storage.
For the camera, it sports a 108MP (F1.75) OIS main camera that can shoot 4K videos and 10x digital zoom, while the secondary sensor has a 5MP (F2.2) alongside the LED flash. On the front, it houses a 16MP (F2.45) selfie shooter.
For the battery, it is fueled by a massive 6600mAh silicon-carbon battery with 66W fast charging. In addition, the battery features an AI super power-saving mode and an armor-level protective coating.
For connectivity, features include WiFi 5 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, GPS, dual SIM VoLTE, USB Type-C, USB 2.0, and a Type-C digital earphone jack.
Other features include the Honor X9c 5G running on Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 skin, along with AI features, Magic Capsule for notifications, and dual stereo speakers with up to 300% volume.
