MANILA – HONOR Philippines has officially launched the HONOR X9d 5G today through a Facebook livestream, positioning the device as a strong contender in the mid-range segment, with a focus on durability and long battery life.
Priced at PHP 18,999, the smartphone stands out with its massive 8,300mAh Silicon-Carbon battery and full IP69K water and dust resistance – all housed in a slim 7.76mm chassis.
Durability and Display
The X9d prioritizes build quality, with an IP69K rating that safeguards it against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets and dust – an upgrade from the standard IP68 protection found in most flagship devices.
On the front, it features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display protected by Aluminosilicate glass. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution (2640 x 1200 pixels), and uses 3,840Hz PWM dimming to minimize eye strain.
Performance and Cameras
Under the hood, the X9d is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 – a 4nm octa-core chipset clocked at 2.3GHz. It is available in a single configuration: 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 pre-installed.
For photography, the rear camera setup includes a 108MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), paired with a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Selfies are handled by a 16MP front-facing camera.

The HONOR X9d 5G has a suggested retail price of PHP 18,999 and is available in four color options: Reddish Brown, Midnight Black, Sunrise Gold, and Forest Green.
