Honor has officially announced the launch date for the Honor X9d, set for Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM (7:00 AM UTC) in Malaysia. According to the brand, the Honor X9d is armed with the highest IP69K rating in the industry, built to face the most extreme conditions head-on. It also features an industry-first bulletproof-inspired design and the industry’s largest silicon-carbon battery.
The phone is now listed on their official website, featuring a video teaser and a launch date countdown. It is also listed on Honor’s official online stores on Shopee and Lazada Malaysia. However, there is no word yet on when this phone will be available in the Philippines.
The Honor X9d is reminiscent of the Honor X70, which was launched in China in July 2025, with an almost similar design. The teaser images indicate that the phone has a massive 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, though the charging speed remains undisclosed.

For the camera, it features a circular camera bump design, an iteration from Honor’s X9 series, and houses a 108MP main camera with optical image stabilization. Aside from the durability, IP rating, and battery details revealed in the teaser video and images, the full specifications, especially the chipset used for this device, are not yet clear. We will update this news once the phone is released.
