The foldable phone has a 6.4-inch FHD+ outer display while in a dual-screen configuration measures 7.9-inch at 2K resolution display and when unfolded has a 10.2-inch at 3K resolution display. It weighs 298g and is about 12.8mm thick when folded. Huawei was advantaged by the tri-folding form factor that is both in and out folding, so that the user can choose any screen size that fits their activity.
Aside from that, the device supports up to 120hz refresh rate, an OLED LTPO panel. It also features up to 1440Hz PWM dimming and 240Hz touch sampling rate while the screen is protected by UTG Glass.
Under the hood, the Huawei Mate XT is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 9010 processor, same chipset that equipped in Huawei Pura 70 series. The configurations of the chipset have 2 cores TaiShan V121 at 2.30 GHz, 6 cores TaiShan V121 at 2.18 GHz, and 4 cores Cortex-A510 at 1.55 GHz. For the memory, the device has three storage variants which can get 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB of storage.
For the cameras, the device has a 50MP 1/1.56″ f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture main camera sensor, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and 12MP 5.5x periscope. On the front, it features a punch-hole camera module housing an 8MP selfie shooter.
For the battery, it is fueled by a 5,600mAh capacity with 66W wired + 50W wireless + 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
It also features Huawei’s two-way satellite calling feature that allows the user to make calls even in remote areas without cellular connectivity or Wi-Fi reception.
Additionally, the Huawei Mate XT runs on HarmonyOS 4.2, has a side fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, NFC, USB-C (3.1 Gen1), and a 3.5mm audio jack.
