Huawei appears to be gearing up for a major product launch later this year, with leaks pointing to a new smartwatch series and a potential three-fold iteration of its foldable Mate XT lineup. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) revealed on Weibo that Huawei has filed certifications for a next-generation wearable, likely the Watch GT6 series, alongside new devices, motherboards, and earbuds.

According to DCS, the Watch GT6 will debut in two variants: codenamed “Konsu” and “Atum.” The Konsu model is expected to launch in gilded gold, flowing purple, saddle brown, floating white, and phantom black colorways, while the Atum variant will feature glacier gray, amber brown, titanium sky silver, wilderness green, and Yadan black. Both models will retain the brand’s popular dial sizes of 41mm and 46mm, catering to diverse wrist preferences.

Notably, the leak highlights “support for star flash”—a feature speculated to enhance display brightness or connectivity, though details remain unclear. Industry observers suggest this could align with Huawei’s recent focus on advanced screen technology and health-tracking innovations.

The tipster speculates that the Watch GT6 series will launch in September or October 2025, possibly alongside Huawei’s rumored three-fold Mate XTs foldable smartphone. This device is expected to build upon the brand’s innovative flexible display technology. Huawei has yet to confirm these plans, but the timeframe aligns with its usual fall product launches.

Additionally, certifications hint at new earbuds and hardware components, signaling a broader ecosystem refresh. Huawei’s wearables, including the Watch GT series, have gained traction for their long battery life and fitness-tracking capabilities, competing closely with Apple and Samsung in global markets.

Huawei’s recent filings and DCS’s track record of accurate leaks about smartphones bolster the report’s credibility. However, the company remains tight-lipped, leaving enthusiasts to speculate until an official announcement.

If confirmed, the Watch GT6 and Mate XTs would mark Huawei’s latest push to innovate in competitive tech segments despite ongoing challenges in international markets. Tech analysts will be watching for further leaks as the speculated launch window approaches.
