Apple has officially launched the iPhone 17 Air globally, including in the Philippines, with a starting price of ₱72,990. The phone is now listed on Apple’s website, indicating its prices and specifications, although availability is yet to be announced. In addition to the Air model, Apple also introduced the base model iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and the top-tier iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The iPhone 17 Air has an ultra-slim profile, measuring 5.6mm in thickness and weighing 165g. It is crafted with a titanium frame and features Ceramic Shield 2 protection. The phone screen measures 6.5 inches and uses a Super Retina XDR panel with 120Hz ProMotion, offering up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
Inside, it is powered by Apple’s 3nm TSMC A19 Pro chip, complemented by a 6-core Apple GPU with Neural Engine hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The memory comes in three storage variants, starting at 256GB and going up to 1TB.
For imaging, the iPhone 17 Air features a single 48MP Fusion camera with up to 2x lossless zoom for the telephoto lens. On the front, it uses a new 18MP Center Stage front camera with intelligent framing and stabilization. For video recording, it supports 4K @60fps videos with ProRes RAW support and Apple Log 2.
The iPhone 17 Air is equipped with a 3,149mAh Li-Ion battery with PD2.0 wired charging and 20W wireless charging. It can charge to 50% in just 30 minutes and offers up to 72 hours of video playback when fully charged.
Other features include an Action Button, built-in Apple Intelligence, support for WIFI 7, and runs on iOS 26 with 5 to 6 years of OS support. Lastly, the phone comes in Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White, and Space Black colorways and is available in three storage variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Below are the prices for each model:
