Apple has officially launched the iPhone 17 globally, including in the Philippines, with a starting price of ₱57,990. The phone is now listed on Apple’s website, indicating its price and specifications, although availability is yet to be announced.
The iPhone 17 now features a 120Hz ProMotion adaptive refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and a 7-layer anti-reflective coating. The screen measures 6.3 inches, is an LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED, and is protected by Ceramic Shield 2 glass.
Inside, it is powered by Apple’s 3nm TSMC A19 chip, promising 20% faster performance than the previous generation. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
For imaging, the phone features a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide main camera with a 13 mm focal length, ƒ/2.2 aperture, 1.4 µm quad pixel, 0.7 µm pixel, and Hybrid Focus Pixels, alongside a 12MP 1x Macro secondary camera with a 26 mm focal length, ƒ/2.2 aperture, 0.7 µm pixel, and Hybrid Focus Pixels. On the front, it uses a new 18MP Center Stage front camera with intelligent framing.
The iPhone 17 battery has a capacity of 3,692mAh, which is a 3.7% increase over the previous iPhone 16. The brand claims up to 30 hours of video playback, which is 8 hours more than the previous generation. Additionally, the battery is complemented by 40W wired fast charging that can charge to 50% in just 20 minutes.
Other features include an Action Button, built-in Apple Intelligence, support for Wi-Fi 7, and iOS 26. Lastly, the phone comes in Lavender, Sage, Mist Blue, White, and Black colorways and ships with two storage variants: 256GB and 512GB. Below are the prices of each model:
