Apple has officially launched the iPhone 17 Pro Max globally, including in the Philippines, with a starting price of ₱86,990. The phone is now listed on Apple’s website, indicating its prices and specifications, although availability is yet to be announced. In addition to the Pro Max, Apple also introduced the base model iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and the 17 Air.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max has very similar specs to the Pro model, featuring a brushed aluminum body for improved heat dissipation and a lighter weight design. It’s also equipped with a vapor chamber cooling system containing deionized water. The phone measures 6.9 inches and features a Super Retina XDR panel with 120Hz ProMotion, up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Ceramic Shield 2 protection.
Inside, it is powered by Apple’s 3nm TSMC A19 Pro chip, complemented by a 6-core Apple GPU with Neural Accelerators and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. The memory comes in four storage variants, ranging from 256GB up to 2TB.
For imaging, the iPhone 17 Pro Max features a triple 48MP Fusion series camera with up to 8x lossless zoom for the telephoto lens. On the front, it uses a new 18MP multi-aspect camera with intelligent framing. For video recording, it supports 4K 120fps videos with ProRes RAW support and Apple Log 2.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max has two battery options: a Li-Ion 4832 mAh for the nano-SIM model and a Li-Ion 5,088 mAh for the eSIM model. In addition, the battery is complemented by 40W wired fast charging that can charge up to 50% in just 20 minutes, and 25W wireless charging.
Other features include an Action Button, built-in Apple Intelligence, support for WIFI 7, and runs on iOS 26 with 5 to 6 years of OS support. Lastly, the phone comes in Silver, Cosmic Orange, and Deep Blue colorways and ships with four storage variants starting at 256GB and up to 2TB storage. Below are the prices of each model:
