Apple is reportedly developing the second-generation iPhone Air, potentially unveiling it in 2026. According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the iPhone Air 2026 model is rumored to feature a dual 48MP Fusion camera, adding an ultra-wide lens to the telephoto combination.

Based on an image shared by the source, the camera design will maintain the distinctive horizontal camera plateau, with the added lens positioned alongside the main camera.
However, the tipster mentioned that, aside from the dual cameras, the device is currently a normal iteration from the iPhone 17 Air 2025, which launched in September. The display will retain a 6.5-inch size, ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate, 3D Face ID, and a horizontal track design.
The iPhone Air 2026 is expected to launch alongside the iPhone 18 series in the second half of 2026. As the phone’s release is still quite distant, specifications could change, and we will update this information as new leaks emerge.
In related news, the current iPhone 17 Air is available in the Philippines with a suggested retail price of ₱72,990 for the 256GB storage configuration. It comes in Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White, and Space Black colorways, with storage options up to 1TB.
