IQOO is preparing a new flagship, adding a PRO model: the IQOO 15 Pro. Yesterday, Smart Pikachu, a reliable Weibo leaker, posted about the IQOO 15 Pro, unveiling expected by year’s end. The report suggests a 2K resolution display with eye protection, an enhanced periscope telephoto lens, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and an estimated 7000mAh battery.

IQOO 15 Pro rumors: launch date and key specs
According to Smart Pikachu, the phone will be unveiled by the end of the year, offering standard and PRO models. The company skipped the number 14; we hope this is the next model after the IQOO 13, but in some Asian cultures, number 4 is considered unlucky, possibly explaining the skip.

Last year’s IQOO 13 lacked a PRO model. Interestingly, this time a PRO model is offered to the consumers for options. The IQOO 15 is rumored to feature a 2K LTPO flat display from Samsung, according to previous leaks from Smart Pikachu. The current IQOO 13 and 12 use BOE and Visionox OLED displays, but the 15 series will reportedly switch to Samsung panels for the 2K resolution.
The new leaks seems primarily refer to the IQOO 15 Pro, not the base model, as the tipster previously stated the base model lacks a periscope camera, unlike the PRO model.

Additionally, the IQOO 15 series is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, rumored to launch in October. Further details suggest an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and a massive 7000mAh battery. For more updates, subscribe to our channel and follow us on social media.
