iQOO has begun teasing its upcoming iQOO 15 Ultra, revealing early details about the device’s cooling system, design themes, and key hardware ahead of its official launch.

The iQOO 15 Ultra has recently appeared in CQC certification in China, indicating key specifications such as the chipset, display, and battery that the device will use.

Now, the latest information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo reveals details about the phone’s advanced active cooling setup through internal schematics:

  • A hidden air intake is positioned beneath the camera module, paired with an exhaust vent along the side frame.
  • A large cooling fan (17 × 17 × 4mm) is placed close to the main chipset to boost airflow efficiency.
  • The system is supported by a wide internal air channel designed to enhance heat dissipation.

The top-down view shows labeled components: an air inlet under the camera module area, an air duct connecting to a cooling fan near the side exhaust vent, and a large VC (Vapor Chamber) heat spreader covering most of the lower internal space. Chinese text labels identify each part, and the design is presented with light blue shaded areas on a white background with black outlines.

The device is also said to feature a vapour chamber heat spreader measuring up to 8,000 square millimetres. With optimized performance tuning, the system is claimed to deliver stable 60 frames per second gameplay, maintaining strong average and 1% low frame rates at power consumption slightly above 7 watts, according to the same source.

Separately, iQOO has highlighted the phone’s design direction on its official Weibo page. The iQOO 15 Ultra carries a futuristic sci-fi codename and introduces two distinct visual themes. The “2077” design features flowing orange tones inspired by cyberpunk neon cityscapes, while the “2049” variant uses cool blue accents meant to evoke stored energy ready to be released.

The iQOO 15 Ultra is now listed for pre-order on the vivo Shop website in China. Early buyers are offered a promotional “Lucky Bag” valued at 4,124 yuan, available for 9.9 yuan, which includes extended warranties, long-term fan coverage, after-sales services, installment options, and trade-in subsidies. Additional benefits include screen protection coverage, device care plans, and a limited game account transfer subsidy.

iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO 15 Ultra will launch in early February, though a specific release date and official pricing have yet to be announced.

Alongside these details, the company has teased several key specifications for the device. These include a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung AMOLED M14 flat display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, Android 16, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA LYT-600 3x periscope telephoto camera.

The phone is also expected to pack a 7,000mAh-plus battery with 100W wired charging, wireless charging support, a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, an active cooling fan, and pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers aimed at gaming use.
