Chinese tech company Ayaneo has officially unveiled Konkr, its new budget-oriented sub-brand, with the launch of the Konkr Pocket Fit and Pocket Fit Elite handheld gaming consoles. Priced at $329 and $399 respectively, these devices are set to challenge competitors like the Odin 3, offering flagship-level specs at a fraction of the cost of premium alternatives. Slated for release in September 2025, the Pocket Fit series promises to blend high-performance, portability, and retro-modern aesthetics.

Ayaneo’s Sub-Brand Konkr Pocket Fit Features and Specs

At the heart of Konkr Pocket Fit is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 Gaming Platform, a chipset designed to deliver console-grade performance for demanding titles. Paired with a 6-inch 1080p LCD display boasting a 144Hz refresh rate, the devices aim to balance crisp visuals, vibrant colors, and smooth gameplay—a rarity in the budget handheld market.

Konkr emphasizes portability with a lightweight, artistic design and an ergonomic grip tailored for extended play sessions. The inclusion of Hall-effect joysticks and triggers—a premium feature often reserved for high-end devices—ensures durability and precise input responsiveness. A “Dual Trigger Lock” mechanism allows users to toggle between modern and retro control schemes, catering to fans of both contemporary and classic games.

The 8000mAh high-density battery supports PD fast charging, promising extended playtime without frequent interruptions. To maintain performance stability, Konkr employs an advanced cooling system combining a copper plate, fin module, and active fan—a critical feature for preventing thermal throttling during marathon gaming sessions.

The Pocket Fit series introduces a self-developed app launcher with a retro-inspired frontend for streamlined game management. Native gamepad mapping for mobile games enhances precision, bridging the gap between mobile and traditional gaming ecosystems. Expandable storage and multifunctional ports further add versatility, supporting data transfer and peripheral connectivity.

With starting prices under $400, Konkr’s entry signals a aggressive push into the mid-tier handheld market. The base Pocket Fit ($329) and Elite ($399) undercut rivals like the Odin 3 while matching or exceeding their specs, potentially reshaping consumer expectations for affordability. However, the September 2025 release date leaves a significant window for competitors to respond.
