Marvel Rivals has released new information on gameplay systems and Battle Pass content scheduled for Season 6, titled “Night at the Museum,” which launches on Jan. 16 (UTC) and coincides with the season’s competitive reset and the addition of Deadpool to the game.
Season 6 introduces expanded hero flexibility through new progression mechanics, including a multi-role system debuting with the season’s newest character. The update allows certain heroes to shift roles based on player choice and in-match upgrades, moving beyond the game’s previously fixed class structure.
Teams will continue to be limited to one instance of certain heroes in Quick Match and Competitive play as part of ongoing balance adjustments, according to the developer.
The season also adds new team-up interactions, including confirmed combinations that activate additional effects when specific heroes are selected together.
Season 6 “Museum Ticket” Battle Pass
Launching alongside the season, the Season 6 Battle Pass, officially titled “Museum Ticket,” includes approximately 50 tiers of cosmetic rewards. Progression is earned through match completion and daily or weekly challenges.
The battle pass features both a free track and a paid premium track, with some cosmetics restricted to premium access. No playable heroes are locked behind battle pass progression.

- Wolverine — Winter Soldier
- Invisible Woman — Prism Parade
- Blade — Vampire Slayer
- Venom — Space Corsair
- Storm — Queen of Wakanda
- Black Panther — King of Wakanda
- Mantis — Galactic Gladiator
- Moon Knight — King of Clubs
- Star-Lord — Luminous Legend
- Winter Soldier — Bucky
Additional rewards include emotes, sprays, MVP intros, nameplates, and in-game currencies such as Chrono Tokens.
Season 6 is expected to run through March, following the game’s standard seasonal update schedule.
