The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 was quietly launched by the company. According to their official website, the features and specifications of this chip are now listed. The chip is manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm node, and the first device to utilize this chipset will be the Realme C65 5G, which was recently announced by the company.

According to the company, the chip supports up to a 108MP camera sensor with pre-integrated multi-frame noise reduction to enhance stable, clear images in low-light conditions.
Game Performance
The CPU of the chip is clocked at a maximum of 2.4 GHz, resulting in a 10% increase compared to the previous generation. The overall GPU performance is estimated to be up to 50% more powerful than competitors from other platforms.
As usual, MediaTek’s HyperEngine technology is included in all their chipsets. According to the SoC details, the chip has an 11% improvement in power-efficiency enhancement and up to 13% greater FPS in demanding gameplay scenes. The chipset features a 3GPP Release-16 standard 5G modem, including the latest connectivity enhancements now deployed by global cellular operators. Device designers can create a single smartphone design for global cellular markets, significantly reducing costs and accelerating global rollout.
The chipset also features “MediaTek 5G UltraSave 3.0+”, which includes a complete suite of R16 power-saving enhancements. MediaTek has its own optimizations that result in 13-30% greater power efficiency compared to competitors.
In terms of 5G connectivity, the chipset has a maximum of 140MHz cellular spectrum, enabling up to 3.3Gb/s 5G downlink via 2CC carrier aggregation – up to 40% faster downlink speeds within urban environments, and up to 30% in suburbs compared to other competitors. It also features carrier aggregation (CA), which is making significant strides. This technique merges FDD and TDD duplexes, allowing smartphones to tap into faster speeds and broader network coverage. Additionally, it facilitates a smoother handover between 5G zones, resulting in a more than 30% increase in data throughput across the network.
Lastly, the chipset features Situationally Intelligent Enhancements. This means that MediaTek’s 5G modem has advanced capabilities to detect when a smartphone is in a high-speed movement environment, such as on a train, subway, or in a vehicle underground. Essentially, it ensures that users experience faster internet speeds even while traveling at high speeds or in areas where signal reception might typically be compromised.
