Meizu has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Meizu 21, in China. Packed with impressive features, this device aims to deliver a top-notch user experience.
Display
The Meizu 21 boasts a large 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1,800 nits peak brightness. Its high-frequency PWM dimming technology ensures smooth visuals and enhanced clarity.
Performance
Under the hood, the Meizu 21 is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor, accompanied by an Adreno GPU. It also features Ice World Cooling technology to keep the device running at optimal temperatures. Users can choose between 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Camera
One of the standout features of the Meizu 21 is its impressive camera setup. It sports a 200MP f/1.7 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide lens with a 2.5cm macro capability, and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The rear camera setup supports 8K video recording and is accompanied by an LED flash. On the front, there is a 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera.
Connectivity
The Meizu 21 offers a range of connectivity options, including 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 6E, and NFC. It also features a 3D Sonic ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, and the mEngine Ultra haptic engine for improved tactile feedback.
Operating System and Design
Running on the Android 14-based Flyme 10.5 operating system, the Meizu 21 provides a smooth and intuitive user interface.
In terms of design, the Meizu 21 measures 156.7 x 75.3 x 7.9mm and weighs 198 grams. It comes in four color options: Green, White, Black, and Purple.
