The Meizu mBlu 21, a new entry-level smartphone priced at PHP3,999, debuted yesterday as part of Meizu’s official return to the Philippine market. The launch event, held at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang, drew a large crowd of tech reviewers and consumers.

One of the Meizu mBlu 21’s main highlights is its affordable price, suitable for Filipino consumers on a tight budget. The phone features a Prism Edge Design, a combination of aluminum and plastic, blending sharp geometric lines with a radiant gradient. It comes in three colors: Titan Black, Ocean Blue, and Diamond White.
The phone sports a 6.7-inch TFT display with an adaptive 90Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. Inside, it’s powered by a 13nm Unisoc T606 octa-core processor and Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. Memory options include 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD up to 256GB.
The back panel houses a 13MP AI camera with a secondary sensor and LED flash. The front features an 8MP selfie shooter.
Other features include a 4,900mAh battery, Android 14, dual Nano SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Meizu mBlu 21 starts at PHP3,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/128GB model costs PHP4,999. However, information on where to buy these new phones and other products is not yet available.
