Minecraft Dungeons 2 has been officially teased, with its first trailer now live on the YouTube channel and X (formerly Twitter) account of Mojang Studios. The sequel is already available to wishlist across multiple platforms, including Windows, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and Steam.
According to Mojang, the next chapter in the dungeon-crawling spin-off is scheduled to arrive in fall 2026. The release window, set between October and November, was confirmed during the Minecraft Live broadcast on YouTube.
The new trailer hints at a darker storyline, introducing a fresh threat that rises to bring chaos across the land. Players will once again step into the role of a hero, facing off against new enemies and exploring long-forgotten locations. Mojang says the sequel will push players into tougher battles, with foes unlike anything seen in the first game.
More details about gameplay features and story elements are expected to be revealed closer to launch.
