The Motorola G85 5G is set to make its official debut in India on July 10th, 2024. Contrary to earlier speculation, it has been confirmed that the device will be the first to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Rumors suggesting the use of the Snapdragon 695 chipset have been debunked. The Motorola Moto G85 5G features are impressive, making it a compelling choice for anyone seeking a new phone.

The company has recently unveiled the phone’s complete specifications and design. Promotional posters have also begun circulating on social media platforms. Moreover, the rumored price of the phone is around Rs.31,999, and it will be available in two variants: 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB storage, with three color options.

    Motorola Moto G85 5G Features:

The phone’s design has a “VEGAN LEATHER DESIGN” closely resembles the Moto G85 4G variants, but there are key differences in the front. The 5G variant boasts a curved p-OLED 10-bit display measuring 6.7 inches FHD+ with a 120Hz refresh rate, supported by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It features a punch-hole single 32MP selfie shooter on the front, although the specific sensor used has not been disclosed.

One of the phone’s standout features is its 50MP LYTIA-600 main camera with OIS. This main sensor, sourced from Sony, is considered a premium mid-range camera sensor, capable of delivering decent image capture and video recording. In addition to the main camera, there is an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera sensor.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chip. Motorola claims to be the first to utilize this chipset. The processor features two Cortex A78 cores capable of reaching speeds up to 2.3 GHz, along with six Cortex-A55 cores with speeds up to 2.0 GHz. It also includes an Adreno 619 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.2 for storage.

Furthermore, the phone runs on Android™ 14, and the company promises 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches. For audio, it features dual stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W TurboPower fast charging.
