Nintendo America announced the Nintendo Switch 2 launch date as June 5th, 2025. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, GameXtreme and DataBlitz are now accepting pre-orders with a ₱5,000 down payment. The suggested retail price (SRP) for the Nintendo Switch 2 console is ₱31,990, and the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle is ₱35,990, also requiring a ₱5,000 down payment. These retailers tentatively set the release date for June 26, 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 Details
The Nintendo Switch 2 features a large 7.9-inch LCD display with a 120hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. When connected to a TV, the console supports HDR, VRR, 4K resolution, and 120 fps.
The redesigned Joy-Con 2 controllers now have magnetic connectors, a noise cancellation microphone, and mouse control functionality on the detachable gamepad.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is powered by a custom Nvidia chip and a modified Tegra T239 with a GPU based on the RTX 30-series Ampere architecture. Previous rumors suggest Unreal Engine 5 support, including Megalights, which would be a significant advancement for this handheld.
Other features include Game Chat, allowing screen sharing during chats. A USB-C® port and AC adapter are included; accessories like the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera and headphones are sold separately.
